This YouTube video is awesome for demonstrating how our earth is affected by the sun's light because of the tilt on it's axis. Great for teaching in geography class!

Animation plays a large role in the entertainment industry. Many movies are animated and the techniques used to create animated have become very unique from each other as the years have progressed and new ideas have been explored. The Origins of American Animation collection includes 21 animated films and 2 fragments from 1900-1921. Of these animations are clay, puppet, pen drawing, and cut-out techniques. These animations also demonstrate the social attitudes of early twentieth-century America.

Food Chain

This picture is great for teaching students about the food chain and is simple to follow with the arrows depicting who would eat who and what animal tends to get eaten by another. This picture helps break down how different animals serve as meals to others and can be used as an example when teaching about the life cycle for humans, animals, insects, and all other kinds of creatures.

Types of Clouds

This image is very educational for a science class for students learning about clouds and the names of the different types of clouds. These pictures accurately depict different cloud types we see in the sky and help them identify their identities with the names next to the depiction of each cloud.

Freiburg, Germany

On the Freiburg, Germany page I could add a part about how it is easy to travel to by train. I know this because I spent a month in Germany near Freiburg and frequently went there, always by train, and it was very easy to use and takes everyone directly to downtown Freiburg.
